I'm Bird :)

I'm a Graphic Designer born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My youth, spent extensively outside, led me to dedicate my work to protect the environment. I spend my freetime hiking, skiing, listening to music, and hanging out with my cat, Kigs. I'm a self-taught sewer, product designer, and business-owner, so I’m really figuring all of this out as I go. 

I created Bird&Bear as a class project while studying GRDS at Savannah College of Art and Design. Like most fields, the outdoor industry is male-dominated. I wanted to create an all-accepting, eco-conscious brand with a feminine touch. Bird&Bear is a space for helping people find a passion for the outdoors and feel brave enough to face the climate-crisis.
